Trove

Super small UI issue??
I've been having this issue time and time again. Mostly recently, with Trove, the UI is incredibly small and barely readable. When it comes to dwelling into settings, I really don't know what I'm doing. Same with troubleshooting these kind of things. My two roomies ( with different laptops than what I have ), run it normally. Does anyone know of the issue and how to fix it?

What GPU are you using and what is the native resolution of your laptops screen?

My native resolution is 3850 x 2160, and my GPU is ( I hope this is the right thing- I am not entirely familiar with this sort of thing. ) Intel (R) HD Graphics 530.

Well there'a your problem, you're using 4K resolution. Many games have interfaces with a fixed pixel-size and no scaling support. Meaning the higher the DPI, the smaller the GUI gets. In such cases your only real option is to lower the game's resolution.

What would you reccomend for the resolution, then? c:

1920x1080. The plain 1080p. Because A) Most games are optimized for it. And B) You should still get a clear picture with minimal amount of the usual blurriness from interpolation.

I adjusted that to the reccomended resolution, and it squeezed the game into the corner, as if it was in windowed. Yet, when I checked, it said it was fullscreen.

Probably a scaling setting in the driver missing. Can'T help there though, not familiar enough with current Intel HD driver settings.

Intel Graphics Options there is options for scaling; set to full screen.

Overall if that Laptop is new, I'd return it.

You want something with NVIDIA GTX Graphics; otherwise what's the point.

I beleive you could just either edit the Trove.cfg in C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Trove and set the UI Scale to something higher than 1 (Try 2), or just use /uiscale in the chat in game and fiddle with numbers till you get what you want,

Thank you so much-! Using the /uiscale fixes it for the most part!
