Can my laptop run CS?
I have found a laptop in my house that is approximately 5 years old. I am far from a computer whiz and am wondering whether it has the capabilities to run CS. It is a Samsung NP300E5C.

The laptops specs are:

CPU - Intel® Core™ i5-3210M Processor

Speed - 2.6 GHz

CPU Cache - 3mb

4gb System Memory

Chipset - Intel® HD Graphics 4000 integrated

No this laptop was not designed for gaming in mind. Either build a gaming PC with decent parts or buy a gaming laptop with atleast a GTX 1060 6GB.

It's not meant for gaming at all

Intel hd 3000 should run cs go on minimum settings. But i would not expect 60fps.

Edit: actually, that cpu has intel hd 4000. Not great, but would surely run it.

You already own the game, so just try it.

Yes don't use this thing for anything other than playing minesweeper.

No this PC is nowhere near good enough to play CSGO. The hardware is simply not up to the job I mean the CPU only has two cores which operate at an extremly slow clock speed considered by todays standards, you only have 4GB of RAM which is nowhere near enough for gaming and the build in graphics are just too weak for gaming.

I am only looking the game to run and play, not at optimum level, even the worst settings I'd be happy with because I don't really want to buy a new computer or gaming laptop. (I am appreciating your feedback nonetheless)

Playing games on a system clearly not up the job is not worth it.You'd be better off buying a console, building a gaming PC with decent parts or buying a laptop with atleast a GTX 1060 6GB.

I have a console but I've been watching a lot of CS:GO lately and I am looking to play it. Do you recommend any laptops that have those requirements that are not overly expensive? Or how much it would cost to build an average pc?

Unfortunatly gaming laptops do come at a price so if you are on a budget building a PC with a Intel Pentium G4560 and GTX 1050Ti 4GB would be a better option.
