Most of the Core OS all works the same; you get to Task Manager and common tasks the same way we've been doing it since Win2k/XP
Just check the Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application
Many times it is not uncommon for Windows to say you are low on RAM when you actually are not; it often happens when an app uses a large amount of ram if a very short time, and its tossing up a flag about that in particular, there usually is nothing more to it than that.
Also, you have plenty of physical RAM, ditch the PageFile.
