Top Notch hat: Item Value?

I just remembered a TF2 wiki article about Notch's "Top Notch" hat, which is a one of a kind hat made just for him. It's un-craftable, and un-tradable, but he can still gift wrap it. I know he would never, ever sell his hat, but if he did, how much do you think it would be worth? In buds, keys, or real world money. Let me know. I'd be interested to hear what you think.

It would be the most expensive item in TF2. There is only one in existence. Since there isn't any in circulation, it will be hard to name the price, the price will be how much Notch wants to sell it.

I disagree, the value of something isn't what someone will sell it for, it is what someone is willing to pay for it.

I would pay 0 for it myself. Digital items aren't realy worth it to me. Some else may be willing to pay more though. It is hard to tell how much without asking every person out there that may be interested in buying it.

It's priceless, in the sense that trying to put a price on it is meaningless. Anyways, there's a reasonable chance Valve would just disappear the hat if he did try and sell it.
