Ability to add Packages to your wishlist!
Pretty simple. I wanna add the Call of Duty: War Chest to my wishlist but you can only add individual games to it! That goes for anyone else who has wanted to add a Package to their wishlist but discovered or remembered they couldn't.

Packages come and go, change contents, get games removed, added or cease to exist.
If you add a package to your wishlist there is no guarantee that it will contain the same games one week from now.

Individual items either exist or not. They don't change.

That's why they don't let you add them.

That doesn't make any sense because I have never known for that to happen. Must be like extremely rare to happen. Well it still wouldn't hurt to add the feature of being able to add packages to your wishlist.

ID complete pack changed contents during last Quakecon Sale.
Valve complete pack changed to add CS:GO and DOTA2.
FEAR Ultimate shooter edition is no longer Avaiable.

Just a few recent that come up to my head right now.
Bundles changing contents is far from uncommon.

The only way i see it working would be make it so adding the 'bundle' added the individual titles and steam could somehow detect if a combination of them is avaiable in a bundle at any given moment.

Interesting. But I like to think of it as, comparing as to how many packages exist, to how many change. And BESIDES, it would still be worth it to be able to add packages to your wishlist. AND BESIDES, those are small enough changes!

I agree, this would be a big plus.

They can always mark packages that have changed or are no longer available on your wishlist when you view it to so you can decide what to do. If it's removed, the person looking at your wishlist couldn't buy it anyway. And if it's changed, hopefully you'll see the reminder, whoever's getting for you still gets you something similar or you can change it later.

Right now, if someone wants to get it, they might not realize there's a better pack for the game. Or I'll forget about it later...

Lets add special editions to the wishlist too. Like a Digital Delux edition.

Yep, those too.

Hello guys
Who has a Gift Call of Duty War Chest?
Kushmaster Dec 15, 2014 @ 3:10am
ah man I want this feature so badly, I gave my parents, family and friends the link to my wishlist but there are some special editions/packages I want them to buy instead of the regular edition in the wishlist. Like I have now COD WAW, COD BO and COD BO2 but I want all DLC with it as well so it would be better if I could just add the COD complete zombies experience to the list.
