Game Description in Steam client.

I wish that my game library in the steam client displayed a description of the game, instead of forcing me to go to the store to see a description of one of my games.

Instead, it gives me a list of friends who own it, and a news feed. Why do I need a news feed on a game?

Well, to see the news of that game actually. In fact, it's more interesting as the description changes once in a blue moon with the news feed changing quite frequently.

You are not force just hover with your mouse over the title.. and a description will pop out from the side for your joy

Some like to see what is comeing and going with a game... some (i guess like you) dont...

Where are you even looking for this information?

When I hover over a game title on the Steam Store, I am given

• the Title
  
• A brief description
  
• The genre
  
• Release date
  
• Categories (Such as Single Player)
  
• Friends that own the game
  
• Friends that want to game.

Did you do it on the search or were? (on the main store page the featherd games it dose not happen by)

when you have hundreds of games, it sometimes gets difficult to remember what each game is about.

Surely if it's in your game library you already know what the game is because you bought it? Why would you want a description of a game you have already bought and already know?

I'm not quite hitting the same number of games that you have, but I'm close, and I can't imagine there being a difficulty in remembering the games...

I have many many many games, which I have never played. looking at a list of games, gives me no clue as to what the games are about.

Well that is a problem then... i think most of the users know what there games are abut... even if they have hundreds on hundreds of them... and if its not going to be for a large part of steam low chance Valve will do it

+1 billion. This has been in my mind for years now.. I cant imagine ppl care about the news feed for every one of their games.. Whereas I have so many games that I need a description of the game before I can try it. Why cant they add the description on top and then continue with the rest.

I can honestly say that nothing on the library page of the game has any use to me except the store link.

At least they can add this as a preference option to appease both sides

I keep asking myself the same thing. It is hugely annoying to have to go to the store to get a description of a game.
