The Top25 games according to Steam are... baffling to say the least.
e.g. Counter-Strike is more popular than Counter-Strike: Source, and it's Aug 2013.
Really is that because you're the only Australian on Steam?
Sorry are you the national distributor for all games in Australia. Could you explain why gams are more expensive there. They ahd a hearing about this, but you seemed to have missed it. I'm sure everyone on the commission would grealy appreciate your national insight as to what Australians are playing.
That's all I am saying, besides: It would be nice to break down the Steam stats by nation.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You are mad. This is info that people in other countrys are dying to know. You, satoru, are from america, and news flash, the rest of the world doesnt give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ about you or what you have to troll on about. You just shouldnt have said anything.
There is a reason NPD paid Walmart millions of dollars for the Point of Sale data, and why it costs thousands of dollars to get their data stream
Data is important and worth A LOT of money
The premise that the OP 'knows' what "Austrailains" play is utterly laughable. Just because their personal tastes are not refelcted in the 'most played' list, doesn't mystically mean that ALL Australians don't play those games. Sarcasm seems to be utterly lost on you huh.
I don't know why people feel the need to defend Steam 'as is'; if they do not want change then why surf the forums?
There are many other examples and they would depend upon all the nations that have a large Steam user base; and future markets in developing economies may adopt different games (free to play, lower hardware requirements) than certain Western Democracies.
