Yes, even that i think there was a tread like these before many say yes... but the big problem with screenshare is that you will have to have a pretty good upload to do it something many (or so i belive) dont have... but will be cool to have it
Or even if not have a window in profile showing live stream from some serves (Twitch and so on)
so your friends can just go into the profile see a green light or something to show your live streaming now with a link or embreald

totaly agree
I personally dont play big RAM heavy games so i don't see that being to much of a problem for me but other people would come across this.
I agree with your point and completely approve the idea. screen share should be a thing like voice chat
something that makes it so you can offer or be requested to screen share your game

I would never be against such a feature but the logistics would be a nightmare unlike a closed system such as consoles.

Too many variables.

Would be uber expensive for Valve to implement too.

I always thought Onlive sharing was great, maybe I am the minority there - lol.

Its cloud gameing that means all the work of graphics and that is done in there side so you can play even on a weak notebook even that you do need a good internet connection or so i heard it dose not work on my contry so i never got to try it... i also heard it has live stream thing but there its easy for them as its all done by them live streaming is just to send your game to someone else with out controls

You wouldn't want to reveal your desktop or other apps so I say if this is done, share one steam window or running game at a time (show nothing but the window)... and if its the steam MAIN window... well hopefully the sharing software would blur out or omit your real steam account username.
Lets not go nuts yet about remote control, but perhaps user clicks would put a mark/beacon on the screen for the other user. Maybe even draw on top, etc.

I think it should be limited to friends or an option in your profile settings. You would have to activate the stream so I wouldn't think other people would want to watch some random persons stream.
I agree with you with the window thing, something that only shows the window you're on, even if you change screeens, the way fraps does.

Well i think what we are talking here is to stream the Game nothing else not the desctop not the steam only the game it self so no one can see any thing else
