Unable to edit text for screenshot captions.

This should be rectified. Silly to take a screenshot, post it on Steam and Facebook, and then unable to edit a misspelled word.

I would suggest moving to the Trading Card Beta and the new profile. I know that you certainly can edit it there.

i would like to be able to upload 25 screenshots, edit a caption, then click "Next" to show the next screenshot's details and comments so i can edit them more easily. is this a feature of the Betas?

I change the description of the screenshot, but after refreshing the page displays the old inscription. I tried it in a web browser, and in the steam-client. I tried to delete the word at all, but it returns to the place. It's like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gremlins sit and hold it.

It definitely works. I just edited this one to change two exclamation points to three and it has saved:

Make sure you aren't viewing a cached version of the page. Which picture are you trying to update and what from and to, in case everyone else can see it, but its just cached on your side.

Um, yes you can. You can always edit the caption via steam client. Worst case scenario delete the screenshot, reupload it with the correct caption.

As K.A.R.R said it may be a temp problem. If you're doing it on Steam, hit F5 about 12 times and see if the page refreshes properly. Or you may have to go as far as exiting and restarting the client.

Unfortunately no it is not. However, this functionality has somewhat existed for years in the client iself. Go to View > Screenshots on the UI. Select the screenshot you want to comment, then add the caption. Do this for all of them then select all the screenshots to upload and upload.

That's the closest thing there is right now.

thank u it worked u have to click the picture then click on view comments & details (it should be blue). then scroll down and look to the bottom right it should say OWNERS CONTROLS (highlighted green) and below that it should say edit caption and thats it.

Yea it's pretty old and lame the way it is implemented. Not enough people hate it vocally I guess.

Its the same way, not sure what is the problem your facing there
