If you play TF2 or Dota2 (I guess they're more or less the same) for instance, you might get a event Crate drop (RoboCrate, Salvaged Crate or whatever semi-rare crate they make drop every 3-4 months) and sell it for a few cents and you achievement. Or manage to get a Vintage weapon for a couple of scraps and sell it.
Even better, if you're not interested in some cards you can easily sell them on the Market.
Besides, the Market's still in beta too; I think that (Valve-time) soon they'll make more stuff sellable on it.
Or buy one for $0.03.
The entire point of the Community Badge is to have people try out the new features, so at least give it a shot :).
