Either way, I suggest you to contact Steam Support.
https://support.steampowered.com/
The two you mentioned are Steamworks games and require a Steam account anyways. There is no need to add them to that list.
To be fair, if it's a Steamworks game, its mentioned on the box that it requires Steam.
It is more convinent to look at the box when in the store, or read the systemre quirements, then go on the net and find a list, then go back and buy it.
That list is for games that don't say you can add it to Steam on the box. That is all. If Steam is a requirement, it states so on the box or under the system requirements.
Dude, why do you fight that suggestion? Is there something evil about having one single list?
"or read the system quirements" It states on the game page that the game requires Steam.
The information is already out there and accessible is a more convenient manner then is what being suggested. The intent of tha page is diffrent from what you seem to want it to be.
Why do you insist on it's redundancy when it is unnecessary since the information is availabe where you are buying the game? There is no convinence is what is being asked. It serves no purpose to do it like that.
Want a list of Steam games, look in the Steam store. That list is for retail games that can be played as is OR added to Steam. If you make it a "Steam Games List" it will just confuse people who are not sure if the game they have can also be added to Steam.
Yes it does. They system requiremets or another part on the games description will tell you if Steam is required.
If you are too lazy to read the requirements then that is on you. If you are only going by that list to buy a game, then that is your problem, not Steams.
All "workfows" are covered. You should always read the system requirements.
No one does that. No one looks at a list of "Retail Keys" then looks up titles, let alone a support article. If they wanted a list of Steam games, they would look at the Steam store.
PS: Steam games can be way cheaper outside of the Steam store.
Please see this list.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_using_Steam_authentication
You will see that all the games there require steam.
You will also notice that some of the games on that list are also found on the list I linked to in my first post.
As such, your entire argument is redundant.
The retail / CD key list on the steam support page is meant to have ALL games where the key can or must be registered through steam.
As I said previously, some games are missing from that list because it has been some time since it was updated.
That is all I request. Quite why you are so hostile toward this bemuses me.
As is your suggestion when games that require Steam already say so on a box and under system requirements.
There are 2000+ games on Steam. Creating that list is pointless since all anyone has to so is look through the games that are already there (through the store) and check the system requirements that are listed where they are buying the game from.
Not being hostile, just debating the subject with ReBoot. Why are you being so defensive over something so trivial yourself?
I'm simply pointing out why it is not needed. If jsut want the games listed, it is pointless. No one ever looks at that list unless they want to know if a game they already own and play can be activate. No one looks to find out if a game that already states it requires Steam, cen be added to Steam.
If a way to improve the current system was bing offerd, that would be diffrent from just "update your lust that hardly anyone uses".
