What happened to Steam Guard?
The idea of an Authenticator is great. The gamer uses a mobile device to verify a new sign-in into steam.

Great.

Now, there was some update or something and I keep getting a questionnaire everytime I try to allow a new connection to my account and for some reason the Authenticator doesn't like my answers and as a result it keeps blocking my new sign-ins.

THIS IS STUPID. TAKE THIS FEATURE OUT.

or I will be forced to remove Authenticator from my account.

Who is this sign-in. Where is it coming from. What is it for,

You mean the page where it shows you;

map location with the accounts avatar

the account login name

type of login (QR code or guard code)

login through browser or client

IP address

city and state and country

That's been there since the mobile app UI update in 2022.

It could be, I only faced it today.

The mobile app UI redesign went into beta August 2022 and went live October 2022.

They even made a group for the occasion... https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamMobileApp

First link. You must join the group first in order to make a discussion.

Second link is the new authorized device list that was first introduced in the mobile app after its UI update.

Unfortunately there is no "Join" button.

It is there. I'm going to assume you are still using the mobile app while going to the group page.

When using the mobile app, from the group page... On the right, near the top, there is a light blue half circle. Tap that.

Alternatively, swipe from the far right to the left.

That is your right hand menu when either in the mobile app or viewing the site in mobile view.
