Report a translation problem
Short version, Valve can't even get spell check working right, what makes you think they could translate 100+ different languages into each other? And yes they would need to do that because there are that many languages on Steam.
Also having a 3rd party do the translation is VERY expensive with zero return. Having a translate button is not going to get them any extra money unless you are willing to pay a buck or 2 every time you press the translate button, which I very much doubt you would.
You can use 3rd party websites to translate for free, do that.
Long version, use the search feature and read the literal 100+ threads on this topic.
when we are watching stuff, the subs can sometimes be funnier than the actual show
Translation services that would be used are NOT as expensive as you are trying to make them out to be, and they are very, very common in damn near every app imaginable....FFS, Gmail has built in translation, and Gmail is free.
Gmail uses Google's own Google Translate for their own email service, "G"mail. Hence, why it is offered free.
I can't think of a single app or service I use that does not have built in translations...it's pretty much standard these days....but we are talking about Valve here, which is why these forums look like something from 2001
For companies that want to use the service, it is not free.

You are once again deflecting instead of addressing the point.
Read post #9 again, (or for the first time).
Seems the "usuals" have shown up....unsubscribed.
