Separating game trading and card trading
I occasionally do game trades and it's a bit difficult to squeeze in or find another person wanting or having a game.

I know there's a trading forum that is off somewhere else, unconnected to specific game forums, but not everyone is familiar with that page. I'd like to go into a game's forum, click on a game trading section, and locate what people are wanting or having to offer. Instead, I'm stuck going through page after page to try to locate the game, and the search option is no help since people don't often include the word "game" in their thread.

That's why I'm suggesting it. It's not incorporated in steam as I feel it should be. Not looking for alternatives. Reddit is also quite hideous. The fact that people feel the need to create their own trading section shows that it's needed in steam.

Well the main problem i find is that the Steam Hub is hidden... and you cant go into it...
As of that cant have a trading sub-forum over there... and we just need to handle with what there is

But ya i do agree that if they make something that will be easy to get too that will be really nice

I've attempted to do multiple trades, but my trades get lost with the popularity of card trading and end up having to turn to the steam-trading forum which still seems very disconnected, but even trades there get lost since it never is about a specific game.

Well then best you can do i think is look for a group that someone made just for trading Games

Yeah. There are alternatives, but it could be made much smoother with just 1 additional forum added to each game. I'm not sure how easy/difficult that is for steam, but in basic forum editing, it takes a minute or two. Probably much more with steam :\

Wait you want them to add a trading forum for the games, for each game???? You know steam has over 2000 games ya?
Or do you mean for them to add a trading forum just for games?

They wouldn't need to make a new board 2000 times. Unless they have an awful forum design, then it's hilarious

well you will have a big big list of over 2000 forums for each game... sounds to me more like a waste of space and time then any thing else... (even more as Steam will grow)

It's not a waste if it's used. As far as time goes, it should be designed to modify one with a feature that changes all. I don't think their design is that flawed. Hardly a waste of space. You don't seem like a trader so what is it to you? What's the big flaw if this was incorporated? What makes people so determined to argue against this idea when it's simply convenience for game traders?
