Games you would like to see on Steam

Please post the game(s) and Movie(s) you would like to see made available on Steam here.

Remember, a game's developer/publisher or a movie's Studio, has to decide if they want to add it to Steam. It is not Steam/Valve's decision to make. There is also no guarantee that the developer/publisher will read this thread or act on it.

It is recommended that you contact the developer/publisher or a movie's Studio of the game/movie directly (by email or through their own forums) to increase the likely hood of that they will see it and know what their customers want.

Valve has decided to no longer carry general movies/videos on Steam.

Steam still doesn't develop the games, to make a port would require the developer to port the game, or for someone similar to do so, and it would take an actual developer to make a real port, instead of doing what Infinity did to port Modern Warfare 2 to PC, which was jsut change code and nothing else to make it a PC game.

Plus... how many games do you know of that Nintendo has released on PC, or even ported to PC? Literally 0 of them, and if there is a couple games, then they'd be fairly obscure and wouldn't really count.

When requesting something, you don't go inside the request title's lines, but the lines of common sense in relation to it, which would mean the only games to request would likely just be past PC games, and games of companies who are good with PC games but don't do them mainly.

That still is like... alot of games anyways when you look at old games, and console games of Activision that ain't on PC yet, or even Sega. Like... more games than anyone can count in a single day.

Plus due to the recent years... it's still fairly clear that Nintendo just likes to look at their own consoles... sicne it's justified in that their console, the Wii U is kinda not doing too well, though they've put an interest on mobile games... Mobile games are in no way similar to PC games.

Maybe browser games you can get for free, but they don't really count.

This is not a steam mod posted thread, its user created and 'pinned' by steam mod. Its asking for personal picks. None of these games listed are going to end up on PC in any way because of this thread.
Limiting, complaining or insulting someone because they put there personal pick for what THEY WANT to see on PC/steam is asinine.

More so on a public opinion forum built for requests.

Its more than fine to let someone know it wont happen under a plesant tone. Good to inform people should they not know. But acting like its wrong or stupid to suggest an exlucive title is bs.

If you want to be Picky. Games aren't ported to steam. They are ported to PC (windows, Linux, Mac) and sold on steam.

Thats a rather ignorant view of this conversation.
Yes some people have made there opinions in a request like form but very few people id expect are actualy asking for the port.

Saying DragonsDogma should be ported is not asking 'this' thread to support its port.

Limitting the responces people can give in such a narrow minded way kills a huge portion of this conversations value.
If people just keep asking for TES and minecraft to be brought to steam this conversation dies.... fast.

This thread is entirely the wrong place and often time for most if not all of the suggested games. This thread is not about raillying the troops. As I already said its extremely unlikely that this thread will result in anything more then interesting conversation. This is after all a gaming comunity.

I find it interesting what people come up with and what old games/memories are revived by peoples comments. Im sry you dont seem to enjoy stimulation but acting as though someones opinion is wrong on a 100% opinion based thread only makes you look like an ass.

Games like dragon dogma can be ported if the devs want and the company authorize them, in fact game such Dark Souls has been ported to PC.
But, as far i know there are not any FIRST PARTY GAMES ported to pc.

Why is there no backyard sports ? just why ? have you guys seen Pablo Sanchez, his stats are off the freakin charts and steam just does not understand that apparently. So they can just add the backyard sports, at least backyard baseball, that'd be awesome. I see Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, and Putt Putt freakin junior but alas when you search for backyard ANYTHING it is no where to be found. Steam needs to step up there game and put the best sports character ever, Pablo "Sanch" Sanchez, on there list of games. I personally would buy them all just for the fact to nail homeruns with Sanch and then bunt with Pete Wheeler, you guys know what I am talking about. Well if you have made it this far I am sure you agree with everything I have said.

This is usualy the part where whom ever Im arguing with decides to deflect again and it would be easyer if thats what you did.

Your inability to prosses information given to you and see/acknowledge where you went wrong is bordering on a mental disorder. But if that where true(which is perfectly fine) you should know better than to act as if others are stupid.
Its starring you straight in the face, its been pointed out to you several times and you reposted it yourself. I dont think your mentally challenged though. I believe it has more to do with me calling you out and you getting all flusterd now playing dumb to avoid admitting guilt.

Simply:
Do not act as though someones opinions are wrong just because YOU think they dont matter or are irrelevant. Should you wish to continue posting either do something usefull for the thread or read what people wright to complete an exceptable responce.
This thread is here asking from one user to another what they would like to see on steam. Anything thats not currently out on steam is fair game. Whether or not a game can/will come to steam is irrelevant. (Although letting someone know -as a favor- is fine) As I have said I belive at least twice now this thread WILL NOT RESULT IN ANY GAME COMING TO STEAM! Now admittedly I cant be 100% sure of this but there are larger more directed threads focused on exactly that and they fail without end. Not to mention offsteam entire sites built to support game porting etc... all that have made little to no progress.

If your just going to skim first and last sentances again then just read this.
Let me make it very simple for you.
Stop posting comments to limit legitimate and fair conversation or I will request you be banned.
