If that doesn't work, perhaps a similar game can be made with the same number of factions, but also with turrets that are replaced altogether when upgraded instead of getting ornaments attached?

The audio was the best part IMHO. Between that and the story it really hit me in the feels, plus the original soundtrack from the 80s TV show was included. Pure nostalgia.
Hasbro picked the right company.
