Hide tags in addition to searching for them.

There's no way for me to tell steam "Don't show me games tagged with ____" there is only "Show me games matching these tags." The tag system is amazing right now, I'd just like to see the option to hide tags in addition to searching for them. For the gamers who want to find action games and exclude RPG's from their browsing, or someone who's looking for an adventure game that isn't action-packed. This could also be added to the recommended games feature.

Over all i can agree, but i do think the Hide system may be better as a separate system from the tags we have now
Why?
Well first no one wants to search by negative tags, so there is no real point putting them in the same place
And second of all most of the tags we have now i do not think will help for negative search
For example
The Action tag can fit many many games, saying you do not like actin may be right, but how many games that you may like may have that tag for these or that reason

Also games with a tag like RPG, just as a game has RPG dose not mean all the game is based on it, or its a maigur part in it, it may just be a small part of it, yet it may be tagged with that

And with all that i think that if you negative tag, lets say 3 categories abut you may find no games.. (not tested, just pointing out, and it will not be true as some games almost have no tags at all)

But one thing that can be good with these idea as well, is to help to find untag games and tag them

I definitely agree, and I'm not suggesting adding a negative tag system but rather a way to mark the tags that are there as things you want to exclude from the search. It'd definitely need to be more precise than the current tagging system, but I still think it'd be a handy idea.

I'd be happy just with being able to do a tag Boolean. For example, I do not want any game tagged with "nudity." I wish I could just mark the tags in the search with -nudity, much as I would on a search engine.
