So, no, I don't think users should be able to do it, if only to prevent the above.
I understand, that's a very good point, I thought about that and was thinking about email confirmation, something like the one you get to do when you login from another device, but I guess I'll just have to learn to live with my market history lol
... it happend to 3 friends they where scammed /hijacked whatever and all histories was gone.. so tell me why should no user be able to delete it if the scammers/hijackers can do it already :D?
Then you have no less than three friends lying to you. The transactions history is stored at Valve's not accessible to the user. Valve is required by law to have full transaction histories of the accounts for a certain time frame.
That time frame is functionally indefinite
