High quality setting for full-screen trailer videos and default backdrops?
It's the year 2015 and Steam has been out for a while now.
You'd think these would be implemented by now. I mean, even the backdrop to this forum is noticably low-quality.

Nah, it stays at a good 480p when fullscreen.
Also not all the world has fast internet, but the most popular video site, YouTube, allows 1080p for people that can use it.
What kind of argument is that...

One that disagree on setting HQ when on full screen, and not maybe on your own sittings like YouTube :D:
Also taking abut the its 2015, dose not matter that much on the button line (but hell may be only me)

If it doesn't matter, then why does Steam bother having trailers at all?
They know people will go to youtube for better quality ones.

That .jpeg compressed background does stand out on 1080p monitors to be honest...

I understand not everyone has high Internet / resolutions but enabling the higher quality page textures to download for people who have set to a high Internet connection in Steam settings would be great. Rather than everyone sees the same stuff.

I think you may have miss understand me, i am not agiest the idea, all for it, but i think it will be better if there was a sitting for it, like YouTube has, and not that when you full screen it jumps to HQ no matter what

And the Year dose not matter, not meaning the idea dose not matter or anything like that (and were did i say that trilters do not matter?)

Sorry, forgot to add that in the post. It should be a setting, yes.
