Steam "Live chat" support
Hi :)

I think it's okay to put up tickets and all that but i think there should be a live chat on steam also.. Some people only have a Little issue that could take 5 minutes with a live chat but it takes like a week or so for steam to answer on the "tickets".. It doesnt have to be a 24/7 live chat tho.. But the idea could be very good. I dont know what you think about this.

I would really like this feature.

If they did this, because of the millions of people who use Steam every day, I would strongly recommend that they should only handle issues directly related to the Steam client, and the most commonly-encountered issues for the newest/most popular games in the Steam Store. Anything else, such as having a problem getting a 10-year-old game to run? Fill out a ticket like everybody else.
I think its a great idea ! EA has a chat support too, and even though it takes hours before you get to chatr with someone, its WAY quicker than steam support

You have to spend at least $5 on your Steam account.

That is some BS... When did this get started?

Not really. They're already giving you games and certain privileges for free. Why do you expect them to give you everything if you aren't even going to spend any money?

I do not agree with that, Valve more or less dose give most of it for free, the parts that are not are only were it harms other users, its not like Valve is really trying to get profit from these much, if that is what they were after they can have better ways

Few years back i think it was 100% free, then Spam and phising bots come, and they had to block it (users ask for it) so they put a pay wall by the user having to pay for something

That did not help much as spam bots got free keys

So it become only for Steam store things

That did not help much as of the 0.19 games, so now you have to add 5$ to wallet or spend 5$ on a game to be able to do so

Its for the community safety
