Please allow adding of already-owned games to Wishlist
I've purchased a few games that are awesome enough that I'd like to buy extra copies of them and gift them to a friend.

Annoyingly, I can't add them to my wishlist and wait for a sale because Steam won't let me add games I already own to my wishlist.

I understand removing games from my wishlist once I've bought them. I'd understand warning me that I already own an item when I add it to my wishlist (or better yet sticking the "In Library" icon on the wishlist item just like everywhere else in Steam).

I can't really understand outright preventing you from doing it.

Is it possible to add that feature, please?

Nice suggestion.

They really have to let us add whatever we want.

After all, even free-to-play games can be wishlisted for crying out loud!

The Follow button subscribes to a wide variety of updates about a specific product which will appear on your Steam account profile page.

Adding a game to your wishlist sends you an email notification whenever there's a special on that game.

Personally I almost never look at that update page, but the email notification is very handy.

Ahh.. my bad then. I thought Follow also kept you updated with sale notifications via email... it really should actuually.

+1 @irrevenant.
I own Arma 3 and would love to be notified when it goes on sale again, so I can buy it as a gift for my nephew.

More features, yes! I want to be able to do this.

Definitely agree with this. There are games I own that I'd like to buy for my friends when they go on sale.

This a feature I would really apreciate so I could buy games which I enjoy for others at sale prices. Put them in my inventory and gift them at birthdays etc would also be great.

+1 That would be great! I would like to buy a game that I already own for my son.

Until, if ever: Make a second account, register it to the same e-mail address, keep the (owned games) wishlist on there. Enjoy your notifications.

Definitely would be useful and Steam should see that too, for they are missing out on sales.

Hmm, seems like the best solution I've seen so far, since Steam won't oblige us and let us have more freedom with our own Wishlists, for crying out loud. *grr*

Thanks!
