Developer: Ubisoft Quebec, in collaboration with Ubisoft Annecy, Bucharest, Kiev, Montreal, Montpellier, Shanghai, Singapore, Sofia, Toronto studios
Add a length limit to developer on steam store page.

There is literally a developer called:

Developer: Ubisoft Quebec, in collaboration with Ubisoft Annecy, Bucharest, Kiev, Montreal, Montpellier, Shanghai, Singapore, Sofia, Toronto studios

Yes, all that is the name together. (AC Syndicate)

They are allowed to list all the dev studios involved.

Unless you don't want transparency...?

Valve has never wanted or valued transparency in that system so if he opposed transparency he would be in agreement with Valve at least.
All those Ubisoft Studios were involved in the development, therefore Ubisoft can list them.

Imagine telling someone to change their profile picture just because you can't read a name correctly 💀

Valve has never opposed transparency. They simply leave that as a choice for the dev/pubs./ Nothing wrong with dev pubs listing the main and subsidiary studios involved in a project.. Given the fight it is for creators to get acknowledgement from these larger companies it's nice to see this positive change.

They're not listed as individual studios tho, it's literally a single link with all of them. Go look at the AC syndicate page!

they could just put ubisoft
If they list them all, because they lost them all.
If they don't, because they don't.

What recognition? If you click the studio name it just takes you to the publisher page lol.

I would agree it is equally and obviously ridiculous to accuse OP or Valve of opposing transparency.

And that is exactly how Ubisoft wanted the linking to be done.

Precisely, and now that you understand the policy you should see transparency has nothing to do with it. You are welcome.

It is transparent because they are all Ubisoft's dev studios.
