Yeah I never understood the concept of these topics, because from a business standpoint where basically Steam currently has to do next to nothing, and make profit. What's the incentive to spend tens of millions of dollars a year to please people who're effectively being cheapskates, y'know?

How are they getting paid now with current coupons and sales?

Does not have to be a voucher for any game on Steam, could be vouchers in coordination with devs who don't care if, say, there are vouchers for 100 of their keys.
You receive vouchers like these all the time when reaching a new level after combining card sets.....

Valve should just do away with Reward Spam all together.

Well, as of now the badges are just being used as a way to give someone the finger if they have comments turned off in their reviews.

That's it.
Badge value = Middle Finger in your email.

Translation - You don't agree with what I'm attempting to point out but have no ammo to argue so you're playing your final Trump card to encourage the thread to get locked.

If the mods care about their jobs at Steam then they will want Steam to be awhile for a lot longer.

If certain types of people are being underhandedly harassed through a system exploit this could be a detriment to Valve.

BTW - I'm pointing out that some users are abusing Valve's interaction tools, in place, to single out and harass other particular groups of people for discriminatory reasons. Why are you defending this?

Ah! yes the age old - Hey Valve can you create a discount voucher which has a value associated with it, 10% to 75% off and do this by using Steam Points which have zero value.
