Ive been asking for a "Chicken Choker" award for some time.

I wish they'd get rid of the entire system or at least allow us to hide them anywhere on the platform not just certain areas, but if any award should be add it's obvious the golden Gaben award.

Honestly yeah. Awards, and for that matter most form of profile tat as well, have done nothing but been a blight on the Steam ecosystem since their inception. Everything related to profiles have done nothing but lower the value of Steam with each addition.

Showcases? Did nothing but invite Achievement Spam games with 5-10k achievements so morons can have custom crap in their showcases. Which eventually Valve had to step in and add profile limited tags to new "games"

Awards and points? Every new popular game has morons farming clown awards.

Profile levels? Nothing but an indicator that this account is worth password phishing because its owner is an idiot and will fall for anything.

Trading cards? Saw the rise of asspies like Digital Homicide, Ata Berdyev, and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spamming the store front with unplayable crap just so they can print off thousands of keys to sell on VK for literal pennies to card farmers.

Hell the only reason Valve got rid of greenlight was due to the faux outrage these idiots and bots spun up just so they could spam the store with their garbage. But nobody ever gives thanks to Greenlight for keeping games like Sarah to the rescue 1-45 (No ♥♥♥♥, 45 "different" versions of the same galaga clone Digital Homicide tried to release in the same month) off of the store front.

But if we have to have ANY new awards, give us a pile of poo

like from binding of isaac and make it cost no points. Maybe put it on a cooldown to prevent spamming or something. That way people can "clown" on terrible posts without awarding the idiot points for their spam.
