I hate this BIG PICTURE MODE button bro
Couldn't you put an option to disable it?
I don't need it at all for nothing, and I often click it by mistake, and every time that happens I yell DAAAAAAMN AGAIN NOOOOO FFFck 😂

I think I have once, but that was long ago. I would see people state they'd click it on accident often, I wondered how that can occur until I saw my grandchild clicking around on the pc one day and now assume that is the way things are being clicked to cause this. I think I've clicked it once or twice. And I fault myself for not paying enough attention. And then I see these requests and I wonder how often are they in that area clicking away that they accidentally hit BPM so often. Maybe I'm using steam wrong.

I blame no one for being mad about it. It is a one click major UI change that takes a whole unit of Valve time to load. "Well just don't click it" is just solipsism, not an answer. Why have buttons that just serve to annoy people?

People use big picture mode, which I know that you know. Stop signs inconvenience some people, are they also on the chopping block? Its a single button that enables a feature that many people use, not Valves fault you can't click straight.

Maybe it should be behind a drop down menu or something that requires two clicks

I think they ought to move it somewhere else in the layout but idk where. Perhaps the top left, a bit to the right of the Help drop down, a gap between them, so you don't accidentally click it while trying to access help either lol

I admit I've had many times where I go to minimize Steam or something and accidentally open Big Picture mode and I do the same thing almost; like, "nooooooo not againnnnn"

It's meh. I don't do it too often but yeah. Or maybe put it in the top left Steam drop down instead? No idea. Either way, whether it's changed or not is okay with me

As Hotsauce above said tho, at least it's a bit smaller than what it was, which does help. I don't really hate it as is now, it's fiiiiine. Just the occasional accident with it

I use the button! People use it and you know that.

Again with the disingenuousness. You're not stupid, we both know that. We also both know that there is no way for anyone other than Valve themselves to tell who exactly uses the button. If it was such an underutilized feature, surely it would have been removed by now?
