Allow Users to Add, Remove, and Modify Event Flags for Game Recording Timelines
A minor quality-of-life change to the media viewer for the Recordings & Screenshots feature would be to allow the clip's author to arbitrarily modify the timeline events.

This would make it so relevant events can be properly labeled to make up for what the game's event code fails to properly note in the clip. In the following example, the event is labeled improperly (it should read something like "Destroyed Teleporter"): https://i.imgur.com/RLmmgCa.png

Additionally, this game doesn't use any relevant icons per the Timelines Developer Documentation: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/timeline#icons

Ideally the user could write their own code to automatically record events in the game with the labels they want, but this would entail having access to the source code which.. no. This seems like the next best thing.

Steam cannot and will not do anything that alters a games source code for a game not owned by Valve.
If you want to do that, get in contact with the games devs.

This feature would allow the user to manually change the timeline flags after the recording has been saved, and does not relate to viewing or modifying the game's source code.
I think that could be nice as an option, I yet to use the recording feather, but the idea sounds solid
