A lot of those are people that need help though, so technically the help sub forum is the better place for those to fall into anyway which a lot do.
Much like the VAC forum exists. Those people are offered information for their specific issue, and it doesn't flood the forum.
To be honest, the more I think about it, the more it sounds like a good idea, especially when hijacking report threads often appear in 3 or 4 of the subforums, not just help and tips. I've even seen a few pop up in OT.
But i digress, i feel like this is derailing the OP, so i'll not say any more on it.
Said people are supposed to go to Steam Support and not post threads/comments on discussion boards to debate moderator actions taken against them. There's literally no need for a sub-forum like this.
Why would we need a forum for the same few people and bots to post in since per your other threads Steam users are not real users and actually just bots and steam employees?
such as
Complaints
Bans
Hi-Jacks
Conspiracy
would all be good sub forum topics to create to keep topics more defined within the forum.
the biggest benefit will be that people will only get to make one complaint post
everything else they post after that can get funneled into it
they will not get to complain
over and over again
that they are not being allowed to post
if they go so far as to make another acct just to complain
they are still helping steam by upping their user account
I like it so, yeah. I'd be down for this getting implemented so long as the paid mods actually move topics to where they should be.
The hijacks though I still feel are fine in the help section but then again, if they made a thread to post about hijacks specifically and pinned it at the top I wouldn't be against that.
That would include you as a regular.
As for: "Steam needs to ban this guy."
That's why the VAC forum exists, its probably a good idea.
