this way all people complaining an dealing with bans can just post on it and not spam fill the other genuinely helpful sub forums.

I'm not against it, though it would require the current paid mods to move these kind of topic to that forum and I'm not sure they'd bother doing so. Might decrease the complaint/ban spam in the other channels a little though.
Can we also get a "My account was hijacked" forum? Clearly pinned threads and moderator thread closing replies are not enough.

A lot of those are people that need help though, so technically the help sub forum is the better place for those to fall into anyway which a lot do.

It's not that they don't need help, it's to confine it all to one place, which i believe was the point of the OP suggestion.

Much like the VAC forum exists. Those people are offered information for their specific issue, and it doesn't flood the forum.

To be honest, the more I think about it, the more it sounds like a good idea, especially when hijacking report threads often appear in 3 or 4 of the subforums, not just help and tips. I've even seen a few pop up in OT.

But i digress, i feel like this is derailing the OP, so i'll not say any more on it.

Said people are supposed to go to Steam Support and not post threads/comments on discussion boards to debate moderator actions taken against them. There's literally no need for a sub-forum like this.

All it would be is a locked forum with a single sticky saying please contact steams support if you have any issues/questions about moderation.

Preferably it wouldn't be, if the intent is to give people a specific place to post (as to reduce spam in other threads at least a little) then the ability to post in there is a requirement. If its locked then it'd just be ignored much like the FAQ that goes over what scams are and how to avoid them.

Why would we need a forum for the same few people and bots to post in since per your other threads Steam users are not real users and actually just bots and steam employees?
Probably could use a "Suggestions-Meta" board for all the suggestions that only the 12 people that camp here care about. "Suggestion: Steam needs to ban this guy who really bugs me, I mean need a rule against saying things this guy who annoys me says"

its basicly a suggestion to divide the forum up into sub forum topics which appeal to people's posting.

such as

Complaints
Bans
Hi-Jacks
Conspiracy

would all be good sub forum topics to create to keep topics more defined within the forum.

love it

the biggest benefit will be that people will only get to make one complaint post

everything else they post after that can get funneled into it

they will not get to complain

over and over again

that they are not being allowed to post

if they go so far as to make another acct just to complain

they are still helping steam by upping their user account

I like it so, yeah. I'd be down for this getting implemented so long as the paid mods actually move topics to where they should be.

The hijacks though I still feel are fine in the help section but then again, if they made a thread to post about hijacks specifically and pinned it at the top I wouldn't be against that.

That would include you as a regular.

As for: "Steam needs to ban this guy."

I mean to be fair, I get people banned because it's fun. It's SUPER fun if I can get them community banned.
