Reject unwanted Awards.
What the title says. If someone gives you an Award and you don't want it there should be an option to reject it.

Thanks for the free points and thanks for proving my point.

To be fair to your point, Steam does have an option to hide awards on profiles. So if someone gives you an award on your profile, you can hide it so the awards don't even show up.

The option to hide awards on your personal posts should be an option to have, since it's already offered in other ways.

I find that doing that only serves to drive people to give more jesters to you because they think that they're going to be the first one. All because you said something they didn't like. I mean if people want to throw their points at me because they feel like they're going to be the first to "own" me, I'm not gonna say no.

Edit: People have given me 6200 points trying to "own" me.

It should be an option yes I agree but I'm beginning to think coming here leaving this suggestion was a bad idea tbh given the babyish and toxic mentality of some people on here. This is hilarious is it? I'd love to ask the person who left that Award what exactly he finds so funny about someone leaving a legitimate suggestion for the Platform that IMHO will make it better and far less toxic.

Whoever left that for you undoubtedly did it to mock your unreasonable sensitivity to low-res clown images.

They don't bother me that much, I just get a bit irked because they're legitiamtely ruining discussions like this one.

People don't give Awards anymore to compliment someone like they used to they're used to Troll, to annoy and I personally just feel you should have the option to reject them, that's all.

Mocking other users is disrespectful which is obviously and always against the rules, which reinforces my point about the usage of the awards
I don’t understand why people are so bothered by awards.

It’s free points, you made someone give you free points, take your win :)

How do they legitimately ruin discussions?

I literally already said how they can ruin discussions in the very comment you quoted and responded to.
