Not all live service games are free.
So you're looking for a way to avoid games that have in-app purchases? Or games that are frequently updated? What's the deciding factor?
So NetEase and Valve are okay with Marvel Rivals and Deadlock being tagged with 'Sexual Content'?
I'm trying to create a collection from my library using custom tags I added, but they don't show up.
With a tag, you can search for or avoid what you're not interested in. I thought that was clear. But if you're asking about my case, I do like live service games. I just don't want to keep track of all of them in my head. Same with games about cryptids or monsters, and there aren't any proper tags for those either.
Live service games are games that receive ongoing updates after launch, often with new content, events, seasons, or battle passes.
They’re usually designed to keep players engaged over a long period, sometimes with microtransactions, but not always.
Sorry, bub, I guess you'll have to keep track the old fashioned way - make a collection or use excel.
You don't have to. Out of curiosity, how would you define a live service game?
I would personally define "live service game" the same way that "MMO" is defined. As in, I treat them like they are synonyms.
