Require moderators to pass literacy/fluency tests for the languages they moderate
They need to demonstrate this both internally and externally to users as well. They should be REQUIRED to leave a custom moderation message that indicates they actually speak English and understood the content they just removed. If it is English content, or any other language for that matter, and they don't speak the language on a native or competently fluent level they should NOT be allowed to moderate that content. Ever.

While we're at it, we can have users who think they know laws...take tests to see if they do know said law before trying to preach about them on the forums.

Would cut down on a LOT of spam.

Honestly, great idea. I agree with your suggestion - I get a ton of spam on my own threads where people who have no idea what they're talking about or anything about laws post nonsense replies and derail the thread.

Yup, like those who cry "DEI is illegal in video games". Which, isn't how the executive order works.

So it's useless spam.

DEI is illegal now. Try again.

Nope, in hiring processes perhaps. But video games are classified as art, which is protected as a freedom of expression.

DEI games are propaganda, not art. And they are funded by Dems. Anyway I'm not going to reply to any more posts made by you that are about a completely different thread topic - you are derailing this one, which is against the forum rules btw

If you actually read the executive order, you'd find it's aimed at government hiring processes in hopes to extend to the hiring processes in the private sector. Not video game/media content.

And the topic is comprehension, which some people evidently lack.

I'd be able to clean out a Steam sale with all the times I've had to correct people on Steam policies, EULAs, etc. Laws, I don't touch. They aren't real anyway.

You don't know what a DEI game is.

Yeah, many people on this forum speak with a kind of certainty about suggestions as if they themselves are Valve employees.

I'd be a billionaire if I had a dollar for every time that you claimed to be an expert on everything.

Keyword, claimed.

Hell sign me up for that deal. I'm well off now but I'd be able to retire even better according to that quote.

The "DEI Changes" only affected government. Valve isn't part of any government.
