Rename the Suggestions forum to "Ideas We Ignore"

Whoever said it was about my ideas? Suggestions which would improve the filtering on searches have gone completely ignored for years. Others in regards to improving community moderation have gone ignored as well. Regardless of what I agree or disagree with, Valve employees do not post in these forums or give any personal feedback to opinions whatsoever. Ergo, this is the equivalent of a suggestion box which gets fed straight into a paper shredder.

Why can't we use reverse psychology to actually get them to listen to our good ideas?

Some ideas get implemented, its just we never really 100% know what will and what won't.

For example, there were many suggestions about changing the old family share so that multiple people could utilize the library. I myself, didn't really see that being something Valve would do at least in the way that was suggested a lot of the time.

Much to my surprise and delight, Valve did actually implement the idea. Not in the exact way that users intended (making the whole "The Monkey's Paw" thing I've seen stated a lot all the more real) as there are HEAVY restrictions in place to counter the loads of abuse that'd take hold on the feature (such as renting libraries).

There are probably other examples, but that one is the most fresh on my mind, probably because I use the feature a lot. My family and I make use of it so our shared library is massive.

They have implemented many things people have suggested.

1. Game Recording

2. Private games

3. Family Sharing different games at the same time, not locking out the entire library anymore.

Just to name a few huge ones from the past couple years.

I don't really keep a list written out but the demo/prologue changes and then moving free trending to a fifth tab came from me. Everything else would require me to search back posts but that goes back to the reason I don't keep a list: I don't really care about the specifics that much.

I recall in my youth a lot of kids had baseball cards , we'd trade some autographed. For some reason there was a kid that would frequently tell us they started selling more baseball cards at a particular store we'd frequent because "I told them they should sell more". Despite us knowing full well that wasn't the case we let him believe that was true. This strangely reminds me of that.
