how about a repair tool for steam?

ding frys are done jk. hey valve how about you create a program specificly designed to scan for steam errors and repair them. now what the h#ll am i talking about you ask? ok so there are still alot of unresolved issues with steam if you didnt know that. there needs to be a program which can restore and repair steam to its proper state. no do not say oh just uninstall and reinstall or rename client regestry.blob or validate your cache because that doesnt work ive tryed multiple times and im never uninstalling again especially after it whiped my games list clean last time which i didnt appreciate that plus theres no garauntee that doing any of that will fix said problems. anyways enough of that like i said there needs to be a proper program designed to fix any problems related to steam.

There is a easy way no game lost...
Go to were Steam is installed -> Delete every thing but not:
steamapps (these is your games do not delete them)
userdata (some saves you may not want to lose)
skins (your skins no need to lose them)
steam.exe (main Steam file needed)

Then after you have only these folders and program active steam.exe as administrator and walla it will reinstall Steam no game lost

yeah i tryed that problem came back even after that. oh trust me ive tryed just about everything.

Reinstall steam. Run it once. Then once again don't copy and paste drag and drop your steamspps folder back replacing the new folder with the old one. Now run steam. Steam will now have your games back. Your saves are saved to your my documents folder so the steps above will not delete your game saves.

Excuse me if I've completely misunderstood, but I thought that's what the /repair command did on the Steam service executable:

• Exit Steam.
  
• Click Start > Run (Windows Key + R)
  
• Type the following command:
  
  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair
  
  (If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.)
  
  This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes.
  
• Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Doing the Steps I posted also does not delete user data so the saves will remain safe. As the saves in user accounts are saved in a different location.
