"Popular among friends" but for groups
I really like the "popular among friends" info from the store page. I think having that same functionality built into steam groups would make it easier to organize lots of people in that group to play certain games.

For example, if I'm setting up a LAN or something and have everyone join my steam group a week or so in advance, it'd be a lot easier to tell what games we should all play at that LAN based on a "popular among group" sort of thing. That way my game choice wouldn't be biased against my friends list, if people that show up to play aren't on my friends list already (or like to play different games or something).

Well the problem i see with these is many groups are like TF2 Trading group you have over 500 users there and more like that.... that have nothing to do with game it self so that will kick it out

Or do you mean to have it in the group it self?

Yeah like you go the group page and there would be a tab to click which would display a histogram like the "popular with friends" one in the store, but aggregated over the group instead.

For me, it's always been a challenge when hosting LANs to find a game that everyone has or everyone plays on steam. Usually with bigger showings you have to know which games in advance to play, but I feel that if the group just showed you what the most popular games in that group were, it would take a lot of guesswork out of knowing who had what game and how often they played it.
