Banned when disconnected from CS:GO game

So the thing is, I'm not banned now but I just want to say a few words about the matter. If your internet shuts down in a way you cannot do anything about yourself you get banned for 7 days if you don't reconnect. There should at least be some kind of ticket for this, I'm aware of the fact that people could abuse it but I'm also aware it's so very hard to come to a great conclusion about this matter and how to solve the issue of people disconnecting by intention.

I don't have any recommendations in mind, I'd just like to start a discussion where we can brainstorm about this matter, since it's just f*cking awful to get banned for a thing like this.

Should be an easy ticket system to solve it at least, I haven't found any.


Actually perhaps Valve should make it like this: For cheating, it's ok to get banned for life or whatever but when disconnected it could be like 12 hours, and not higher for everytime it happens? Because 1 day - 7 days - 30 days because your internet shuts down is just ridiculous.

2 hour Ban for being kicked lmao!

The most stupidest thing they could of done is ban people for being kicked.......

I'm playing a lovely game, and I decided to stab someone cus they kept blocking me. Not only were my team ♥♥♥♥♥ my k/d was at least 1.5 with 20+ kills.

Anyways, I take my time during a round taking down 3 people for the last 1 to hide behind cover as the timer to plant went off. Now I understand that planting the bomb is the aim of the game! what people forget is this a team based game! they didn't name it 1 man army for a reason. I think ahead in team based games, and in counter-strike I know saving for a more accurate weapon will ensure a better chance!

.....now before some dumb arse kid comes in here thinking he's all cool trying to think of anyway possible to be negitive towards me, nope its not my fault! an its commom sense to know these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kicked me because they sucked so bad themselves! and couldn't handle loosing .....proof?? I was the only left alive! in almost every round, that says something.

The banning system is far too over the top! it's as if Hitler himself designed em!
You wouldn't give a 5 year old permission to set off a nuke now would you? well it works the same way for this banning system, giving a 5 year old the tools to get a person banned for 2 hours is down right retarded!

Yep, you need to fix your internet connection or just change the ISP. Keep in mind that leaving the match, no matter the reason, affects all your team members, so it' not just your problem. I know it hurts but that's the way it is.

Realy a nother senceless discussion from a silver about the 7 days? Just keep your Bannlevel down. If this would happen from time to time (what realy can happen) you get a 30 min bann and you can play on. If it happen to often your bannlevel goes up. YOu are on 7 days now. So you are a toxic player or you have such a bad connection that you shouldnt play Competive. How should this be a problem of valve? Why they should change something because you cant play the game like the rest do? Sorry i have round about 600h on GO and was never banned. None of my friends was ever banned ... So why should something be changed? Just for you silvers that you can play competive more and more like casual? smh ...
