Steam Web API - Market
Hey there,
I run a website where people can see stats/analytics for the steam market items, but it looks like Valve closed down one of their API's a week ago (http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/730/Huntsman%20Weapon%20Case/render/). It used to list the name, price, image, classID, user listings ( + fee prices), market url and more.

The market is a big deal in terms of trading, and most likely a good amount of income for Valve.

It would be nice if Valve wrote an API for us developers.

What do you think?

It figures that exactly what I was looking for gets closed right before I start needing it :(

I think you should add /render/?currency=1
1 is USD I'm sure. 3 is EUR.

I'm sure sending currency is all you need but the full ajax request on a listing's page-change, for me, looks like so:

http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/730/Huntsman%20Weapon%20Case/render/?query=&start=20&count=10&country=DK&language=english&currency=3

Hey @wamingo,

Thanks for your post.

When did they make currency a required parameter?

How did you work out that you need it?

Thanks man
