We had games that had like 1k achivments where you get all of them for just starting the game
Or games that give items like letters and stuff
basiclly games not made for a game, but meant only for achievments or items where there only selling point
some also where really really cheap to help rise how many games you own and no much else
Using the limited blocks games crom benfiting users with this non-game, game feathers, so they not sell and the "dev" will not pay the 100$ to upload it
Dose this make Valve moeny, maybe in a round about way, but this is more likely to be a way to simply block spam non games from being on the store
This isn't changing.
Why insert the “verified [paying customer]” into the process? Seems that if you want Valve employees to directly verify, anyway, that the involvement of the former would be unnecessary.
What is the process of the brief verification you envision?
To achieve what?
If you’ve completed the challenges, a marker in your library hardly seems that important. I wouldn’t expect they’ll switch from the current system to something requiring employees to manually sort through PFL titles—though the verification you mention is a bit light on details which may make it more viable.
