Don't think they can be viewed if you are not running Windows 10 though, right? No way to test it...
The posted emojis are visible on other platforms (I see them on my Android phone), but no way to access the Emoji chat menu to post them, no.
The emojis people use in their profile names often also are the Win 10 ones.
indeed, one of the beautfil thing about emoji, they're just like any other character you see me using in this sentence, how they appear is determined by what you look at them with.
