Add support for running terminal commands as "non-steam games"
In Linux it would be really cool to be able to use terminal commands for launching games, this is particularly useful if I want to launch a non-steam game through wine or with specific launch options.

For example, I use an Alias to run League of Legends

alias League_of_Legends='cd /home/xandis/.wine32/drive_c/Riot\ Games/League\ of\ Legends/RADS/system/ && wine32 rads_user_kernel.exe run lol_launcher $(ls ../projects/lol_launcher/releases/) LoLLauncher.exe'

And in Linux I'm not a fan of using shortcuts either way, if I launch a program not through the terminal, I do it through a context menu by right clicking on my desktop. I don't need .desktop files, and as such don't really want to have them if I can avoid it.

Maybe be better and i think higher chance to be seen by the Linux Team on the Linux Hub:

Have you tried to create an executable shell script that does that command for you and add it to steam? Unfortunately, I can't test it out at the moment because I don't have my linux drive with me.

Or you might be able to create a .desktop file that points to a .sh file.

Blame valve for not making that page easily accessible from the steam client. :P (if I go to Community -> Discussions, it will not show, so this is where I go.)

I know how to make it work, I just like not having too many files. I wouldn't even need to point the .desktop file towards a .sh file in this case, I would just put the execution script into the .desktop file.

That is a mistake if they're only officially supporting Ubuntu (and SteamOS) since any idiot can use that.

I was kidding..
To be honest i wish each OS had its own hub and not just a tread as we have it right now.. as for linux there is also Guides and its own sub-forums + Art + Screenshots and so on
