I want to use Apple Pay in Steam!
I hate putting my bank card information each time and I dislike to keep it in steam. I want to buy from Steam store easier, I prefer using Apple Pay because it’s faster and Make payment more easy to do. I hope my suggestion get seriously

Agreed.

Just to preempt the inevitable: no, merchants (like Steam) don't have to give Apple a cut from Apple Pay. That's not a reason to not support it.

that is a reason, if the cut is too big they wont add it and valve doent mind as they already make all the money

store your card info in the browser not in steam and you get best of both. you dont have to keep your info on steam AND you get to insta fill when you purchase.

The cut is 0%. There is no cut.

all card providers and online transitions take a cut, not from you, from valve.
edit-- apple still use merchant fees so using apple pay the merchant still takes a hit, its not 0% if a user uses apple pay.

To quote myself: "merchants (like Steam) don't have to give Apple a cut from Apple Pay"

To quote payment processor Stripe: "Apple itself doesn’t charge businesses to accept Apple Pay, nor does it charge users. Apple makes money from Apple Pay by charging card issuers 0.15% on each Apple Pay purchase. Although Apple doesn’t charge merchants to accept Apple Pay, some payment providers charge businesses a processing fee for each Apple Pay transaction. These fees vary depending on which payment provider you use.

Stripe customers don’t pay any additional fees to process Apple Pay and the pricing per transaction is the same as for other card transactions." https://stripe.com/gb/resources/more/how-to-accept-apple-pay

Saying that there's a fee at all for merchants isn't an argument against accepting Apple Pay, it's an argument against accepting debit and credit cards. Apple Pay costs the merchants the same as a credit card.

im guessing valve looked at loads of payment methods and went with the ones that make the most sense. i mean its apple pay is well known and popular so maybe they have a reason.

stripe/apple from a quick look online in 2019 was 2.9% - can not confirm its the internet.

You skipped the part which reads some payment providers charge businesses a processing fee for each Apple Pay transaction

Valve gets to decide if they support it.

People wanting another payment method is why Steam gift cards exist in the first place, so ask away.

If you can add your bank card to Apple pay, you can link it to Steam and remove the middle man program.
Why add an unnecessary extra step?

Use your Apple Cash virtual card number. You are going to either have a saved payment method or login to one and have it saved no matter the payment method. Apple pay is not faster than steam wallet. So buy steam gift cards if you want the fastest option available.
