Flag to know which screenshot I've already uploaded on my profile
When I quit a game and I have taken some screenshots, Steam automatically open the screenshot manager; here I choose which of the screenshots to upload on my profile, etc.

In the grid, there isn't any flag on the screenshots that I've already uploaded in my profile, in the previous sessions. So you risk to do a little confusion and it's not so clear.

The strange thing is that everything was ok some Steam's version ago, when there was under every screenshot, a little square flagged, in a corner, to report whether or not the file has been uploaded in the previous sessions.

If you will consider implementing this detail, thank you!

Open the Recordings and Screenshot manager if you look closely at each one in the grid there is a tick bottom right corner on the uploaded image showing when it was uploaded

Yeah thanks, but in the screenshot manager that opens after you quit a game, there isn't.
Time ago there was.

I agree and remember this! the old screenshot manager had so many things that I thought were good that got stripped away by the new one. One of them is definitely being this, an icon that lets you know which items you've uploaded publicly to your profile vs not.

I remember it being a cloud icon!!

I also posted another topic about separating "Delete from Disk", "Delete uploaded screenshot/ public post online" / "Delete from both" behaviors.

back then a little pop up window prompt lets you do the 1st one vs 3rd, but now it's all combined and gets messy. Deleting a screenshot you uploaded will delete both it online and from your disk, even though I just want to delete one or the other. I don't like losing control that we previously had lol.

all in all, Steam needs to look at some of these old functionalities again, and they're there for a reason. they were better.

for a time, our new screenshot manager also had a behavior that made newly uploaded images suddenly move to the top of the "chronological order" on the entire screenshot manager list. thank god they reverted that and now uploading old screenshots doesn't magically jumble your order of screenshots anymore.

Yeah, the screenshot manager is worse than before. Why? 😅

I'm glad Im not the only one who has noticed this. Why did Valve make the screenshot uploader worse by removing the checkmarks?! I have a hundred screenshots for some of my games. How am I supposed to tell which ones are uploaded and which ones are still on disk now?
