The word you are looking for is "displayed", not "advertised". You having owned a game and played it is not in itself an endorsement of the game.
How is it trivial? I'd like to see this option as well. No reason it can't be implemented or suggested. I don't need my kids seeing some games that I have either. We should have control over this kind of thing.
