Let us hide games from the public games list

In our public profile the games we have bought are advertised along with our play hours.

You can hide them if you want.

I want to hide one of them like I can do with the library list. In fact I will hide ten or more, but I want to hide one in particular or I feel I have to make the list private instead.

And secondly if you feel ashamed for having certain games or what ever else the reason for hiding them might be create a second account specifically for such games.

That's supports way of brushing you off because Support doesn't handle trivial stuff like this.

You don't re-make a failed thread a week later, that is just spam. Steam Support telling you to post on the forums is their polite way of telling you to go away since you messaged them with a non-account related thing, and a non-billing related thing. You knew you already suggested it, a good amount have suggested it (hence search first), they know what people want and if they implement it, it'll be in an unknown, far future timeframe.

I wouldn't recommend posting more spam and something many users can see as questionable depictions of types of people.

The word you are looking for is "displayed", not "advertised". You having owned a game and played it is not in itself an endorsement of the game.

How is it trivial? I'd like to see this option as well. No reason it can't be implemented or suggested. I don't need my kids seeing some games that I have either. We should have control over this kind of thing.

Because they only resolve issues within Account & Billing. They're not there to pass on what every random user wants. They're Support, not public relations.
