Microsoft is not here.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1928870/Minecraft_Legends/
then if you want to play the original minecraft
go to "microsoft store" on your Windows 10 or windows 11 and install the game on the computer.
This is something that might interest you in that regard:

They literally won't - https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/627456486849997575/
*You* have to contact Microsoft, however it's is *very* unlikely that they'll put Minecraft on Steam.
And i assume it still does well enough, there is no real reason to put the game on Steam.
Nothing will solve your problem. Steam doesn't chase down games to add to their platform. The only remote shot you have is by contacting microsoft.
its your only option even if its basically a snowball's chance in hell
And they own Minecraft. They are the ones who would have to decided to put it on Steam.
Valve doesn't go get games on Steam, they let developers choose to put their games on Steam. So the only way it will get onto Steam is if Microsoft chooses to do so.
And that wouldn't be enough to cover the cost of MS putting the game on Steam. They still have to pay $100 fee and the cost of the employee to put it on Steam, programming and testing of it on Steam and possibly linking the account to an Xbox account.
So it would cost them at least a few thousand, just to sell one more copy for $40. Not a very smart business decision.
Just because something *can* be done, doesn't mean a company is actually interested in doing so. they have other interests. Keeping Minecraft away from other PC stores and thusly "exclusive" actually can be a real interest for Microsoft.
That might change in the future. But that will still be a Microsoft decision and not one that Valve will have a hand in by themselves.
