Valve doesn't need to step into that territory.
Oh heck no! This is a gaming store, we don't need crap like this. If you want tinder like stuff go use those apps, there is no doubt ones for gamers too. There are lots of kids around here and there is no way for Valve to actually verify who is an adult and who isn't.
Look at whats happening with some porn sites in the US that some states are requiring those sites to collect peoples private information and verify it. The sites instead are just blocking those states because they don't want to take the chance of getting it wrong and allowing someone in who is under age. They don't want to be responsible for storing all that info either.
Valve would be forced to collect that same info if they put tinder like crap into Steam and that would cut them off from many places just because laws don't allow them to collect that info.
So again no to this very bad idea.
