CS2 Trust Factor
Let’s introduce a Redemption and Rehabilitation system to boost players’ Trust Factor and matchmaking. This could be done through community events and a training center.

We could have a mode called “Restorative Justice” for players with low trust factor who want better matchmaking and a safer gaming environment.

In this mode, players can learn to be their best selves. They’ll play against bots/AI, learning kindness, teamwork, and how to play FPS games properly.

This could be an optional mission for all players. It should be fun, educational, and rewarding.

It could be a one-time mission, an alternative to the “Training Day” tutorial. It would guide new players and inspire veterans.

For example, a new CS2 player might get a mission to thwart a terrorist threat at a certain location. They’d need to be careful, understanding, and clear in communication.

Community events could be tournaments organized by a game master, streamer, or influencer. Rewards or better matchmaking could be based on team performance, fair play, and encouragement.

Toxicity and cheating should be treated separately. The system could match toxic players together, but not with cheaters. Cheaters should be banned immediately. Toxic behavior should be monitored by VAC, and chat spammers should face restrictions. A filtering system, like Dota2’s, could discourage derogatory language.

Clear guidelines and transparency are essential. Players should know what behaviors affect their Trust Factor and how to improve it. This could involve a progress bar or another visual indicator. If system abuse leads to genuine behavioral improvement, it could be a worthwhile trade-off.

At the end of the day, CS2 is at the heart of steam and an improvement of cs2, is an improvement to the steam community. Thanks for hearing me out. :steamhappy:

Becoming a better person shouldn't be a video game's job

While I understand your perspective, the proposed ‘Restorative Justice’ mode in CS2 is not about making someone a better person, but rather about promoting a positive gaming environment. It’s an optional feature designed to enhance the player’s experience and encourage fair play.

Doesn't trust already update based on behavior?

Good question. The true answer to your question is we don't know.
What we do know is that people in low trust factor affects the matchmaking putting them against/with people of similar trust factor but that is also not true.
What we know for sure is the queue time is wild for said people and they can only play casual modes without long queue time.
