Which “current situation in the world” is driving your request?
…. Economic sanctions come to mind.
Which is ironic for a "currency" that's supposed to exactly match the value of USD.
People prefer to be paid in real currency that tends to not change from minute, hour to day(s) so they don't get short changed by the constant fabrication of cryptos that are usually big rug pull scams.
USDT is the one being referenced in the OP. And it has indeed changed in value despite supposedly being backed by actual US dollars.
Sure, I don’t dispute that; Tether is wholly-manipulated — it’s created to sustain the ecosystem, so of course the peg is only of so much importance.
Cryptocurrency is many, many scams.
Here's a website that tracks them:

Thank you for answering my question. A lot has already changed in the crypto market, other coins have appeared that are more resistant to price fluctuations and they are fixed or backed by any currency, a lot has changed in such a number of years since 2016. I have an opinion that we need to try it again and if they fail on this new study, everything will be as bad as in 2016-2017.
Maybe I could be wrong.
Did you read the news that it is extremely easy to ''cheat/scam.......etc'' people of their cryptocurrency investment?????
Money laundering is also related to cryptocurrency as well
