Full block needed when blocking a user
So I had this player the other day that I let join my world in a game I play. Turned out was a mistake as the user became annoying very fast so I told him I was going to remove him and after that he got abusive in nature so I blocked him fully.

Shortly after that I started getting alot of clown rewards given to alot of my posts and have to assume being it is the same game and the number of rewards that is being given that it is this same user now abusing the reward system to harass me.

Being I have the guy blocked there really needs to be a way to fully 100% block the user that includes their ability to send rewards to the person that blocked them.

So I suggest that rewards be added to the blocked features when a user blocks a player that player can't communicate including sending rewards of an abusive nature to the user.

It's weird that a guy who frequently praises Cambodia solely for the fact that it has a lot of "traditional" and virgin women is suddenly pretending to care about the rights and protection of women.

Not to mention that Cambodia is a major hub of sex trafficking.

That's Western misconception. No it is not a hub of sex trafficking.
Uh.

It isn't a misconception.[en.wikipedia.org]

That's Western misconception. No it is not a hub of sex trafficking. As if it matters, America is still the number one of the world's sex trafficking internationally.
It's not a Western misconception. It's well documented, and countries like Cambodia are a favorite of passport bros and sexpats for a reason. And it's not because they care about Cambodian culture.

And you come off as one of those with the way you talk about Cambodian women, your fetishization of them is at odds with your earlier posturing about protecting women.

P.S. I'm still not American, I'm Swiss. You are the American, so what is your point? You come from a country where sex trafficking is normalized? I guess that explains your fetish for Cambodia.

In that case you're in no position to make such judgement if you're not a citizen of either country. This is going off topic.

Are you a citizen of Cambodia?

I don't need to be a citizen to have been there. I've been to Cambodia, and many other countries, actually. The Swiss passport is quite strong, you see. :^)

And I'm quite familiar with your type as a result.

Unfortunately you guessed wrong.

I am an expat and have 5 more years until I can be legal citizen of Cambodia. I currently hold an American passport. Lived in Phnom Penh then moved to Kampot which is quieter. I am much older so no interest of being "passport bros" or "sexpat". Raised in a very conservative family, is one of the reasons I can fit right in. America has become too alien and it's time for me to move on. Despite what you heard, Cambodia is safe, there's no drive-by shootings, we dont allow guns in Cambodia which is a good thing. Cambodia also has one of the very beautiful beaches in Sihanoukville and Kep. Cost of living is a major plus as everything is cheap.

So we went from accusing me, wrongly as usual, of "bad faith arguments" to accusing someone else of immoral activity simply because he is from Cambodia in the latest attempt to derail the thread to a shutdown. Truly a surreal thread

If you say so.

I edit my comment to more detail for you to understand.

Shootings, the violence. I used to live a city called Hartford, real cesspit of the area. Shootings a block away from my old home. Woke policies being forced. Kids young as 9 years old killing each other. Children no longer able to go out and play. It's no place to raise a family. Waking alone at night would cost you a life in America.

I would not be surprised if America becomes the next second American civil war. very high cost of living. One bedroom apartment now averaging $1400 or more. America simply not the same country as I knew in the past. Americans being taxed twice and triple amount. Overall It's safety issue being in a country that gonna destroy itself.
What 'woke policies' are being forced? That doesn't make much sense.

You're derailing the thread, get back on topic, please.
Good gentlemen, let's just get to the topic at hand. What would you change in the blocking mechanism if you could? Please no tyrannic replies, just explain some things that you'd like to change within reason. I've explained mine, so why don't we continue with that instead?

You brought up the stuff about America. I'm just trying to figure out what you mean.

I'll just repeat what I've been saying. The only thing the block system needs is a mechanism to tell you if another user is blocking you, if nothing else for the politeness of then understanding you don't really need to waste time interacting with that user any more.

I don't think a two way block is good here, but, as I've been saying, most of the arguments in this thread against a two way block are worthless if you have any understanding about the numerous other sites that have implemented a two way block mechanism and how that became a popular feature (Or rather, how it got implemented despite the low popularity).

Blocking is sufficient for me at least for dealing with bad actors.

That said, like most things, the tradeoff is people like OP who feel harassed and moderation does nothing to assist. (When it hits a certain number of people who are skilled at finding amenable authorities, that is typically the vector that leverages it in.)

Nothing really.

The current system just takes self control to not click 'show' next to a comment. It already prevents comments on profiles and UGC.

That's why my point 2 is optional (I'll openly admit, I'm not quite good at controlling myself against the allure of that "show" next to a comment.

The profiles, on the other hand, are only one-sided, and the blocker can still harass the blocked if they don't counter-block them, which is why I made the most points, shown on page 42 in full. I mean, I even went as hypocritical as commenting on my deemed offenders' profiles provided that I'm not blocked and their commentary section isn't restricted to friends of private. I mean, does anyone enjoy being harassed by the blocker if their commentary section is public? I don't think anyone would.

It should remove the ability of the person who blocked to comment on UGC of the user they blocked.
