So, to get this straight, you basically want an Adult Only 1 and Adult Only 2 category. Where one of them is for the game with 5 scenes and the other for the (almost) whole game being it.
"Adult Only" does not mean "Porn Game". And while the filters may or may not include subjects that deal with explicit sexual themes, just the name along makes me not want to enable it for fear of not seeing anything that's too difficult for children.
In the context used in the preferences, Adult Only means games with pornographic content. There are examples of what is included in the preferences section.
Adult Only Games games that display the Adult Only flag on them, so games like The Witcher series will not be effected.
Hi there! There was no complaint in my suggestion, it was simply a suggestion. These games do appear in your queue and they begin playing the video the moment the page comes up. Also, if your cursor hovers over a game on a sale page, it will start going through screenshots and they are often very explicit.
If this suggestion is not to your liking that's no worries, but a suggestion is all it is. It's for the consideration of Steam staff.
As a matter of fact its better said that one of his issues I believe Valve is covering in their current Beta which is to hide select games from the public on your profile, the other issue is just simply hiding adult things on the store page while not disabling the adult game view if say, someone is in the room.
Tho, I do believe that 2nd issue can be covered with the family control system on Steam, at least normally it can hide games in your own library when its on but for the store page...? Idk there.
To the OP: There is a way to hide these games temporarily if you do it by the tags
If you go to your store preferences and exclude the following tags: Hentai - NSFW - Memes - Horror (all 3 sometimes) then you should be able to narrow down those stupid puzzle games that are just looking for a quick buck and it should hide them on the store page as well. I have all horror tags blacklisted on my end because despite not having horror games in my library, the store kept recommending them to me and showing them on the store page, hiding the tag seems to hide them on the main store as well
Adult Only Sexual Content falls under 18+ content.
I did as did others who also referenced Adult Only Sexual Content but you chose to ignore those.
*Jameson laughs just before glaring at you in serious*
Which is exactly how they fall under the content category regardless. What's your point then?
1. (Default) Hide Adult-Only content
2. Show Adult-Only content
3. Show-but-Blur Adult-Only content, every time, until you click to reveal it.
Can you give an example of something that would be tagged as "adult only sexual content" but not be pornographic?
