Migrating Games from GOG Galaxy

I have Cyberpunk 2077 which I purchased from GOG and play it via their platform. Seems there are changes going at GOG and wondered if it possible to somehow transfer the game to my Steam account?

Nope, not unless the developer gives you a Steam key for the game.

What is going on with GOG that you want to stop using it?

Keep in mind that Cyberpunk from GOG is DRM free, so you don't need a client to run it. The launcher will be present regardless of what platform the game is on.

Ask CD Project to grant you a free copy of their game to redeem on Steam.

No.

Ask CDPR for a license on Steam.

Thanks for your helpful replies - and quickly too. No significant problems at GOG, but it's the only game I have with them and would prefer to put it with my others on Steam, that's all.

That's probably going to involve a separate purchase. Same as if you wanted to play it on a PS5.
