Here is the thing... if you don't want the stickers... don't click the button to get the stickers.....
As mentioned in other threads on the same topics, what would be better is an advanced hide like you can do with games. They call it perma delete but you can still recover your games on your own. It should be the same way with items in your inventory. Where you can remove them from sight but if you want them back, can dig a bit and get them back without having to bug steam support because they are already slow enough with other stuff.
So an advanced hide would be far better then making stuff into gems/deleting stuff.
