Allow Stickers become Gems

Because stickers and many items cannot be deleted from Steam inventory, at least give us the option to turn them into gems that are needed for trading card booster pack. Example: free stickers from events. Thank you!

Here is the thing... if you don't want the stickers... don't click the button to get the stickers.....


As mentioned in other threads on the same topics, what would be better is an advanced hide like you can do with games. They call it perma delete but you can still recover your games on your own. It should be the same way with items in your inventory. Where you can remove them from sight but if you want them back, can dig a bit and get them back without having to bug steam support because they are already slow enough with other stuff.

So an advanced hide would be far better then making stuff into gems/deleting stuff.

Had I known Valve was in the business of commissioning the worst artists I have seen to make the most ugly and wretched stickers out there, I would never have clicked that button but they made it a gacha of not knowing what hideous monstrosity will now forever make your sticker tray uglier with no recourse until after you click it and brick your account

If Valve did implement the feature, the gem value would probably be set to 1 gem per item as those items are not supposed to have any value and Valve don't want the repeat of commuity market crash from few years back due to giving away too many 100 gem items during an event. That was probably the reason they introduced event items that could not be traded, marketed or turned into gems in the first place.
